Shell Up!

The idea of Shell Up and the main mechanic that makes the game unique and interesting is using the knockback from the shotgun and limiting the shells the player can fire in a single jump to create unique challenges and puzzles where you will need to think quickly on your feet and with precision. The game is designed to be challenging and will reflect that through tight movements and tricky jumps. Heavy inspirations are taken from games such as Only Up, Jump King, and Celeste to name a few as well as Celeste from the idea that you cannot use your dash, or in this case ammo, infinitely in the air. As you climb up the mountain, you discover different pieces of your grandfather’s items that he left behind while ultimately trying to reach the cabin at the top of the mountain.
